I am listing this 1973 Mercedes-Benz 450SL with about 95,000 original miles for a nice gentleman here in Tampa, Florida. He's a retired dentist and can not longer drive due to health reasons. He's the second owner, and purchased it in 1974 when it only had about 2,000 miles or so. This Mercedes is beautiful... In my opinion, the 450SL is one of the prettiest sports cars ever created! And this one is a good example of it! Let me start by saying that this Benz is in incredible condition, specially mechanically! I drove it and runs very, very well. It's smooth, tight, and straight. The A/C works and everything else is in working order. The vehicle has always been garaged and very well maintained, see picture of folder full of records. Everything at one time or another has been replaced or fixed. From recent shocks to recent fuel injections cleaning, etc. Again, seller has all service history! Cosmetically, this Mercedes is very good too. It was painted once about 10 years ago. The paint finish is nice but it does have some blemishes here and there. This 450SL comes with its original hardtop that it's in good shape too (see photo). The soft top I give it a 7.5 in terms of its condition! The interior is very nice and has its usual wear and tear which is quite remarkable considering the age of the car. Tires have plenty left on them also. To sum it up, if you are looking for a very clean, good condition, and well maintained turn-key 450 SL, I would then seriously consider this one... It's that good!
