WOW !!!! 1966 Volkswagen Beetle with 145k miles, original black paint has scratches but car still looks good. Interior fair, fair+ (please look at pictures). I have only driven this on the occasional weekend in the last 8 years+ I have owned it and it drives great. Runs good but does have original 6 volt system so they start hard when hot. I will include some of the parts needed to do 12 volt conversion (which would solve hot start problem that all these 6 volt system Beetles have). 1300 motor was dealership replaced in 1969 with 1500 motor (which was better). In last few years have put on following parts; new front beam, new front shocks, new brake shoes front & rear as well as some of the brake lines, carb. rebuilt, new muffler, new fuel pump, new plugs, new tie rods & tie rod ends. The tires have low milage so they are all good. Body has some dings&small dents as well as some small rust issues starting (see pictures) and rear bumper brackets are rusted (still intact), but still looks good! Great restoration project (which is already started) or daily driver with that great VW Beetle gass milage!
