Vehicle Detail

Eng rebuilt 10,00 miles ago. Good running condition Pictures tell the story. On Jul-02-12 at 18:08:12 PDT, seller added the following information: Many questions have been asked concerning "my baby", and I appreciate all the interest from sincere bidding parties. I will attempt to answer a few general questions: Q. "Why are You selling" ? A. I will be 74 this November and I'm in the process of downsizing my toy collection. Q. "Are there any known issues with the car" ? A. Quite simply - No; It's a solid running car that I would not hesitate to drive cross country. Q. "What mods have been done to the car" ? A. I have added front disc brakes for better stopping capability. I have changed the radiator to an aluminum 2 row, and updated to electronic ignition. Q. "Is the car concourse quality" ? A. It's not a 99 point car - but I'm not asking $65,000 either. It's a very nice car, very clean, no rust, and straight. It's very presentable and very solid driving and functioning. Q. "When was the car restored" ? A. It was done 10 years ago, with most work done by the previous owner. The car was stripped down thoroughly, repainted, and reassembled. Most brightwork was left original. Q. "Do the VIN numbers match" ? A. Thus far I have verified that door jamb, and drivers side fender match the title VIN number - engine not verified. Q. "Who rebuilt the engine" ? A. I don't know who - but it was done by a machine shop in San Diego. I do have a complete log of receipts, detailing what was changed It was comprehensive and the engine is smooth Q. "Any fluids leaking / smoking " ? A. No, engine uses zero oil, no drips of any kind, no leaks - mechanically superb. Q. "How many miles have You logged on the car" ? A. Approximately 5,000 Miles. Q. "Was the car garaged" ? A. Yes! It's never been driven in the winter months either - only started appx. once a month. So to recap. This car is an extremely fun and reliable car to drive. It turns heads, has a sweet and loud FORD exhaust Note (as one would expect), and garners many questions and compliments. The car is very reliable, very solid, and tracks straight down the road without as much as a hiccup. The rubber is good and the rims are updated too. The dash has no cracks and the upholstery is perfect - no rips, rubs or tears. The only things I can think of that would be of any detraction whatsoever is the brightwork around the door windows had some prior pitting that the previous owner left original and I too left it in stock form, as it never was an issue for me. Also, the passenger side window likely will need the track rollers replaced. The window rolls up and down fine - The window also stays put in the position cranked to - but if these rollers disintegrate, then the window can be pried down. Most MUSTANG guys know this issue well. My reserve is very fair and much below the cars book value! Make this sweet 67 Yours!!! - she has a lot of life left and is sure to provide You with a great deal of fun!!! I do welcome questions from sincere bidders - but "dreamers" - lowballers and "tire kickers", please - be realistic and let's not waste each others time.... Thanks again!!!!
