For sale is a 1957 Buick Super/Riviera Sedan,4 door Hard Top Project Car. Very restorable car. Front clip is very good. Left fender has a bit of a kink,see pics,but rust free. It is missing the A/C Compressor/hardware but otherwise complete. Car was running and driving when parked,30+ years ago so you could guess engine would have to be gone through. Tried to turn engine by pulling belts,it would not turn. The cylinders should be soaked with oil or a solvent for awhile before turning. Power Steering,A/C,Power Brakes,Clutch Fan,AM Radio. Original mileage is 52,259. There is rust in the spare tire holder section of the trunk and in some other parts. Trunk floor will need repair. 1/4s are good as are the front fenders. Outside of Deck lid looks good but inside it is rusty under the lip. Original jack,tire iron.radio,seat covers and original paint on body. Floors look good on the top,took old original carpet out to get a look under. I cannot guarantee them to be good,not rusty,only what I saw when I cleaned inside and took pictures. They look good when you look under the car but I have not had it high enough in the air to be able to inspect it all. Bottom of doors have some rust under the rubber seals. Took door seals off to see condition and noticed rust. Most chrome/stainless trim is in good condition,not needing repair. Front left spear has a little bend but I think it is easily fixed. If there are some parts that are not up to standard I will see if I have some parts from some other Buicks I have parted out. Bumpers need re-chrome,Bumper exhaust extensions need repair. If someone is interested in the front clip for example I would consider taking it off and shipping it on a pallet. Buyer would have to arrange transport,I would build pallet and load onto frieght truck. I am open to suggestions. I am selling the car as is.
