2005 Dodge Ram 3500 SLT Heavy Duty Turbo Diesel 4+4 This is a very nice heavy duty turbo diesel pick-up truck that can be used for work or pleasure. This is a great truck to pull your boat or Jet-ski's down to the water. It is also a very impressive truck to show up on a job site. This is a very sharp looking heavy duty truck that was never abused! I am selling it for a close friend who mainly used it to travel 6 hours north in Wisconsin to visit his fiancee several times a week for many years. I hate to say it, but he's actually going into a Prius. Lol! It is virtually impossible to get stuck in the snow with one of these, so that was a major factor in him using this truck to make that trip so often. I think that luck will have run out in a Prius. The majority of the miles on this truck are all highway miles. The original engine was completely rebuilt 15,000 miles ago. The transmission was done at that time as well. The extra's for the transmission where made by ATS, and include a Billit flex plate, an extreme torque converter, a deep trans pan, a towing edition valve body, output shafts by Billit, torque converter lock up co-pilot, and an upgrade to 5 pack clutches with Koline steels. It has an edge attitude controller with exhaust temp probe. There are lots of receipts. The exhaust is newer, and sounds great. The oil has always been changed on a regular basis. This truck is probably set up to handle another 250,000 miles. This is an original owner truck that was ordered new with verification showing 100 miles on the title, and the odometer date of 3/31/2005. This truck does not have all the rattles that most pick-up trucks have. It runs, drives, and stops great! This sweet turbo diesel is set-up with dual batteries, so there is always enough power to go where you have to go safely. It has always been very dependable and reliable. It does not have any lights on the dashboard showing that something needs repair. The body and interior is in very good condition as shown through the pictures. The windows have a slight tint on them, but they are perfectly legal in all 50 states. There was a bed liner installed when the truck was new, so the bed is still in close to the same condition as when it was purchased. There is extra lighting on top of the cab. What you see is what you get. There were always seat covers protecting the seats. In fact there is hardly a blemish anywhere. Everything works on this truck, and it is simply ready for a new home. It needs nothing, and already has the tow package if the new owner needs to use it to transport anything. I've driven in a lot of trucks in my life, and this is one of the finest trucks I have ever riden in. Normally in this size truck you bounce all over the place, but not in this truck. I'm sure that anyone looking at this auction knows what I mean. This truck really goes down the road smoothly for its size, and it was never involved in an accident.
