1982 VW Rabbit Diesel Truck, Silver Ext w White Fiberglass Topper. 95,361.4 Miles - 5 Speed Transmission Blue Bucket Seats, Blue Interior Carpet and Blue Dashboard Garage Kept and in Nice Condition Brand New Battery - Air Filter & Diesel Fuel Filter Production plate on the inside driver door shows 10/1981 Carpet and Door Panels are in really Good Condition, as well as the steering wheel and all knobs, levers, buttons and switches & the Dome Light comes on when you Open the door... No Rust on the Strut Towers :-) Sliding Rear Window & Sliding Windows with Screens on Topper A Very Nice Little Diesel Pickup with Excellent Fuel Economy Driver Side Front Fender has an old "Bondo-Repair", the cab roof has some scratches shown in the pictures, the fiberglass top has one little nick in the gel-coat about the size of a pencil eraser, but otherwise in excellent condition. The driver seat has small split (shown in pictures) the dash has a split but still looks good. The Dash and Instrumentation is all Original, and in great Condition, and Looks Excellent. Headliner is sagging, but quite usable the way it is. I have stored the truck for the past three years. It started right up today after I put the new battery in. Due to age and checking, new tires and new shocks will be necessary soon. I do not know of any other defects that would require attention or repair. The truck is 30 years old... and we love it! However my wife, children and I are currently working for a mission in Guam with our church and do not know when we will get to come home on permanent return, we've had a wonderful summer break at home, but fly back to Guam in a few days. The truck is currently Insured and can be viewed at 488 Main Street in Ketchum Oklahoma at the Treasure Chest Flea Market. Cross St is Broadway. They are open daily Wed thru Sat. from 7:30 am - 5:00 pm and Sunday's 11:00 am until 5:00 Pm.
