AUCTIONING my 1950 Ford F-1 Pickup Truck. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION. This old boy was used as a work truck until it was put out to pasture a number of years ago. Now it lives the life of a retired gentleman. I have owned it for 5 or 6 years and have enjoyed it. Now time for a new home. As far as I can tell the body is all original. When I bought the truck the speedometer didn't work so I replaced it with a used working one, thus I have no idea the actual milage. This old boy runs and drives great. Over the years I have replaced many parts and will try to list the new parts. INTERIOR Everything in the interior is new. All the gauges work. The heater fan works as well as the speedometer. The wipers work if you remove the passenger side one. I guess the vacuum is a little week to ooperate both at the same time. Horn and lights work. The windows roll up and down easily. New window tracks would help. It still has the original jack. New parts are: seat covers, fubber floor mat, shifter boot, headliner and back wall panel were covered in black vinyl, new paint, and a new clutch pedal pad. The radio does not work. DRIVE TRAIN As far as I can tell it has the original straight six cylinder engine which purrs as only a flat head engine can. It comew with a three speed floor shifter whch shfts through the greas easily. The rear axle appears all original. New parts include: points, plugs, rotor, condenser, distributor cap, thermostat, new antifreeze, heater hoses, fuel pump, fan belt, rebuilt generator, battery, and battery cables, EXTERIOR I have installed new front brake shoes and the rubber brake lines appear to have been replaced shortly before I bought it. I installed new shocks all around. Two new front tires, and the other three tires have good tread but are starting to show some age. The bed has been replace with new 3/4" solid oak boards and new metal bed strips. The paint was originally green, and when i bought it it had an old red paint job. i recently had it repainted with a $600.00 driver qualiaty paint job. The body is all steel with some old repairs done to dings and dents.There still exists some small dings and dents but as you can see from the phots mothing major. WISH LIST This old boy is a good driver quality. A new front grill, tailgate, and replace the glass pack mufler were on my list of things to do, but never got around to them. All parts are readily available from after market parts dealers. I have a clear Colorado title in my name. This truck is being sold in AS IS CONDITION. Buyer to pay for transporting it.
