Vehicle Detail
Not sure about original mileage on this vehicle but on all of the new parts, engine rebuild, rear end, and tranny there are less than 2000. This car has new shocks and springs in front and back, front end parts, tie rods, center link, idler arm, ball joints, new wheels and tires. Converted to disc brakes in front with 78 Granada spindles, calipers, and dual resovoir master cylinder and aftermarket proportioning vavle. Engine is a 93 GT roller block bored .30 over. Top end of engine is all aluminum Edelbrock heads and intake and carb. Used an older style intake. Complete roller top end with 1.72 roller rockers. Mallory dual point distributor upgraded with a Pertronix Ignitor electronic ignition. Headman long tube headers and flowmaster mufflers. My brother in-law, who originally owned the car and started the build, had a friend of his do the dual exhaust and in all honesty, needs to be done better. Serpentine belt with electric fuel pump and electric fan. Tranny is a 5 speed Tremec with custom crossmember. Drive shaft is also custom to hook up to a completely rebuilt Ford 9" with 3.70 Gears and detroit tru trac. This car does not have power steering or power brakes. The interior is in great shape other than a previous owner hacking up the dash to install an aftermarket radio. Driver seat does have a tear on one of the seat cushion seams. There are no rust holes in the body at all. There are a couple of bubbles starting to show at the bottom of the driver door. All the chrome is in super good shape. The cowl and battery tray were the worst part of this car and both were replaced with new metal. It's been a long time since this car was painted so there are scratches and dings here and there. Wipers work great but heater does not. I only know of this car being driven in the summer so that was never a priority. Since I've had the car, over 5 years, it's spent 99% of it's life in the garage. The speedo does not work either. Have to figure out a way for a cable to go from the new style tranny to the old style speedo. My favorite thing about this car is that the doors close just as nice as my brand new Ford Edge! It's not a show car but you would spend way more money to get a car in this shape and get it to the point it's at now. It's needs to go to a home where someone has the time to finish it.
