For Sale is this very nice 1976 Toyota Land Cruiser. I'm selling this for a friend locally. The vehicle is currently in my garage in Chaska, MN. My friend is local and has the free and clear title in hand. This truck came from New Mexico about 5 years ago or so. It was a solid running truck but needed some help cosmetically. The rust was repaired and the surface was refinished professionally. In the commonly rotten areas in the rear corners, rust was removed completely and new steel was welded in. The engine swap was done before the current owner bought it. It was done well. The truck runs, shifts, brakes and drives perfectly. No surprises here. The V8 Swap was done to ad more power. It, however, is not a hot rod. The truck still cruises nicely at 40-60 MPH, but you won't win any drag races with it. The exterior paint is VERY nice. The interior is nice too. The rear floor has been all repaired and refinished. There is light surface rust under the front mat, but the floors are solid. The frame and undercarriage has light surface rust as well but is solid. This vehicle was never driven in a MN winter as long as it's been up here. After the new paint and body work, it's been stored in an airplane hanger and not driven in the winter. This vehicle is for sale locally and we reserve the right to end the auction at any time. The pictures are of the actual truck (and yes - the front grill was installed upside down by the paint shop - I realized this after photographing it and have re-installed it in the correct position). We will gladly pick up a potential buyer at the airport. We will also gladly offer a full mechanical inspection at any of Youngstedts Goodyear Stores in the Western Twin Cities Metro prior to pickup.
