Vehicle Detail
HI I bought this 968 last year from Pennsylvania in hopes to set it up for autocross but dont have the time, this is my 4th 968 Cab and dont have the time for all of them. I took the cam cover off to inspect the cams and they are in perfect condition with no signs of stress whatsoever, also inspected timing belt which also looks to be in very good condition. I replaced the heater control valve because it started to leak. The car runs and drives smooth with no vibration or whining, transmission is smooth with no issues. Dash is near perfect condition, if you look real close you can see a very small crack going to start. Body is in very good condition but not perfect, has a very small ding in the hood about the size of a tip of a pen, can be removed by dent wizard very easily, very minor scratches in the rear bumper probably can be buffed out hardly noticable. This is not a concourse car but a very nice driver. Has 17" chrome OEM wheels with minor peeling and bubbling on the chrome have to get up close to see it. Tires are in fair conditon and will need to be replaced soon. A/C is working but not blowing very cold, I am going to have it charged this week and should be fine for the sale. Top works perfectly and rear window is clear. Top is not missing any stitching, I would assume it has been replaced recently. I have a folder full of documentation on the car from previous owners. Please e-mail with any questions Thank YouOn Jul-19-12 at 16:46:37 PDT, seller added the following information: I tested the convertible top today and realized its in manual mode but I can hear the motors running with the switch, I will see if I can hook it back up, Convertible top was replaced in 2009 and looks brand new.
