Up for auction is a 2004 Ford Ranger Edge that I purchased several months ago. Someone with a suspended licence turned in front of us and it totaled my truck. I thought it would take some time for the insurance settlement so I bought this truck from the county in which I live. This was bought new in 2004 by the county and was used as a water meter truck locally until it was taken out of service at which time I bought it. I am the second owner of the vehicle. I have over 60 pages of maintenance records from the county from its first oil change so that you can see that the truck was serviced regularly. I will list below some of the maintenance records and their dates. The vehicle runs well and is in good shape as I hope you can see from the pictures. The air blows cold and has almost new tires on it. The diamond plate tool box is included with the truck. Since this is a Georgia truck it has never been in the salt in winter so there is no rust on it. There are some minor scratches and one little ding which I tried to take pictures of but over all the truck is in very good shape. The drivers seat is torn as you can see in the picture but the rest of the interior is fine. Everything works on the truck. The ABS light will stay on when you start the truck sometimes, but it will go off so I never paid attention to it, but the brakes were replaced not long ago and they work fine. This would make a good commute vehicle or for someone who could use a small truck for work. I just bought a 1 ton so I have no need for this truck as it was purchased just as a stop-gap until the insurance paid for my vehicle. I have driven the truck for several months and have had no issues with it. If you are wanting to fly in and drive the truck home, I do not believe you would have any problems with anything on the truck, but with that being said I have to sell the truck "as is" without any warranty implied or stated.
