Vehicle Detail
I'm not going to sugar coat this. This car is a mess! We started out with 4 1969 Mustangs,1 complete car the other 3 were partial cars that much of the good stuff had already been removed before we got them. We restored the complete car and then a second car using parts from the other 2. We junked out a 3rd car, and this is what we have left. THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE CAR! The car has lots of rust! The rear frame rails are pretty much shot as well as most of the back part of the car as is the norm for these cars. To make matters worse, the guy we got this from started restoring it. He obviously had no clue as to what he was doing and even less of a clue on how to weld. So while it does have new parts for the engine compartment and the floor pans. They will at minimum have to be rewelded. THIS IS NOT A PROJECT FOR A NOVICE! The rockers and the roof have rust but no obvious holes. Here is a partial list of things that go with the car. And keep in mind that most of these parts are less than great condition. 2 Hoods, one was butchered and probably useless. The other has rust and some damage but may be salvageable. 3 Fenders, 1 driver 2 passenger. All need work. 2 doors 1 driver 1 passenger, need work. 3 side scoops 2 driver 1 passenger. Decent shape. 3 headlight buckets 1 driver 2 passenger, all need work. 2 rear stone shields 1 fair 1 poor condition. 2 rear quarter panel extensions need work. 1 cowl decent condition. 2 rear window glass. 4 quarter glass. 1 hood scoop needs work. 2 engines and 2 C4 auto trannies. Engines and trannies condition unknown. The engines are a 60's 289 and an 80's 351. As you can see by the pics there are a lot of parts that go with this car, but it's not everything you will need to restore it. If you have questions or need more pics let me know. I want to make this very plain that this will need a lot of time effort and money to get back on the road and it's not for someone that has never done this before. It is highly recomended that this car be picked up with a trailer as I would not trust this car on a dolly.
