Vehicle Detail

FERRARI 456GT 6-SPEED 1995 V-12 TDF Blue, Tan, 27609 miles Recent belt service It is getting harder and harder to find an affordable example of a true FERRARI GT car with a front motor V-12 engine and a manual transmission. This is especially true if your purchase budget is less than $40,000...... I am selling this 1995 Ferrari 456 GT with a nice 6-speed manual transmission. In Ferrari circles, this is also referred to as a “3-pedal” car. Having a low 27,609 miles, this 2-door car is Tour de France Blue with tan leather – a beautiful combination in my opinion. The full-leather interior (including headliner) is in Tan, with black leather on the dash, package shelf and steering wheel, to reduce reflections. The engine runs fine, and has just had a belt service with new FERRARI belts and idler bearings and pulleys. You should not have to do major maintenance for another 5 years. Both fuel pumps have been replaced with genuine FERRARI pumps, the tank cleaned, and new fuel filters fitted. The engine runs strong, and the transmission is a joy. The transmission was drained and flushed, and refilled with REDLINE synthetic oil. (Note: As with most FERRARI manual-shift V-12 engines of this era, shifting, especially from 1st to 2nd, is much easier after the engine is completely warmed up.) Also during recent service, engine oil was changed with filters. MOBILE 15W-50 synthetic oil was installed. Recently fit with Goodyear run-flat tires. On Ethanol: These cars may have had some worries ( as anything else built before E-10 and E-85) This fuel system has been fully cleaned, the pumps and filters changed. At each gas-up, Stabil Marine (Blue) fuel stabilizer has been added since the system overhaul. Air Conditioning: The system seems to be in good shape, and is charged. At sometime, someone installed a stereo system and may have cut a wire that controls the "on / off" of the AC system. Hence, no cold air. I suspect the might be fixed with a simple "toggle-switch-and-fuse" line from the battery to the AC system. VIN = ZFFSP44A3S0100970 OK – The less-than good stuff: 1) The leather dash is “pulling” a little. 2) The interior is a little “tatty”, but easily fixed. 3) There are a few “blemishes” in the Blue outer body color. 4) There are some “sticky parts,” as typical of the era. 5) The car has a “rebuilt” title. I am not the original owner. Being sold as-where is. There is no warrantee or guarantee implied or expressed. Please ask all questions before bidding. There is NO return. On Jul-14-12 at 10:05:42 PDT, seller added the following information: That I know of, it has never been smoked in. I have owned it 3 years, and it has not been smoked in in that time.
