For sale is my 1976 Ford Elite. I believe the odometer at 87433 is accurate. The photos are actual. I think I am the 4th owner. This Elite is unrestored and unmolested. Same model as 74 Gran Torino Elite, but Ford dropped the Gran Torino moniker. It has been my daily driver for the last couple years and it runs better today than when I bought it. I'll be driving it until the day I sell. People compliment me EVERY DAY on the car and when I've had it at shows or parades It is usually the only one of its kind. Engine starts and runs fine. The car drives well on the highway and side streets with no issues. The transmission shifts perfectly. While the car is very straight and very solid it is not showroom condition. I will list some issues below. Features: Matching factory wire wheel covers. Sports rally gauge cluster- Speedo, gas, oil, temp, ammeter, tach- not accurate, clock- does not work. Towing wiring package with trans cooler. Landau vinyl top with opera windows- vinyl is beginning to develop small cracks/bubbles, but it still looks good on the street. Factory fat red 70's side vinyl trim molding- good condition Factory cruise control. Power steering (That smooth easy 1970's one-finger steering type)- works great no leaks or whine Factory air conditioning system is complete, but does not blow cold. Factory electronic ignition Factory tilt wheel Original AM-FM radio Dual sport mirrors New parts: Brand new Sears Diehard Gold battery Water pump Fuel pump and rubber fuel lines. Alternator Voltage regulator Brake master cylinder Front brake pads Rear wheel cylinder and shoes Upper and lower radiator hoses Kill switch Newer plugs, wires, distributor cap, air cleaner and thermostat. Body: Glass is all good- no chips or cracks No dents from accidents- several small coin-sized shopping cart type dings. Bumpers straight and solid- rear bumper is lightly pitted, but not flaking or rusty. Only rust hole is a hand-sized spot on lower drivers side front fender. Small areas of bubbling and pitting here and there, but not extensive. There are some scratches in the paint consistent with age. Paint on body is smooth and not cracking, peeling or orange peeling and I don't see evidence of any body work. Floor pans all rust free and frame is rust free- solid. Tires are fair- front left white wall 3/4" wide and the rest are 1/2". Spare tire (not great, but holds air) has original old school jack. Exhaust will eventually need replacing- Not loud enough to get you a ticket, but not quiet enough to sneak up on anyone either! Interior: Headliner perfect Carpet is sun-faded 70's thick pile with small hole at drivers foot well. Front seats look good, but have some seams that are coming undone. Rear seats are perfect. Drivers door pull vinyl cracked. Armrests are good and not cracked. Visors complete and functional with pass vanity mirror. Day-night rear view mirror. I would not hesitate to drive this car home after the sale, but since this Ford is 35+ years old I can't promise anything nor will I come and pick you up if you break down!
