Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta TDI. I have owned this car for 5 years, i bought it almost new(20,000 miles). It has been a great car, I really don't want to sell, but a large pay cut at work has me downgraded to a 1980 Mercedes Diesel, def a sad day. I will list everything thats good about the car, and the issues it has. Also just a note, theres a few oil spots on my driveway these are not from the Jetta, they are from the old beater Mercedes you see in the background ha.Good:-Kerma TDI tune (Runs alot quicker than typical TDI's, these guys know how to tune a VW. This tune was about $600 with the programmer, u can easily adjust or take it off if you'd like)-17" Audi A8 wheels-H&R lowering springs-3" turbo back exhaust, with a diesel geek down pipe. The downpipe and exhaust are quality pieces. The downpipe was $500, and I had a muffler man build a 3" mandrel bent exhaust back from that with a straight through hot rod style muffler. Sounds pretty cool, turbo whines up nicely, but its quiet while cruising.-Car runs perfect. I have never had any major problems since I bought it. I have used fully synthetic oil every time, and changed it every 5,000-6,000 miles. They stated you could go 10,000 miles however in my mind that just seemed too far. Bad:-Radio LED screen is cracked. The radio works fine, but you cant see what station your on. I have found these on Ebay for 80 bucks, but just didn't get around to changing it.-There are a few minor cosmetic issues that have come up over 5 years of driving the car to work and back everyday (rather than trying to explain them I just took pictures - u can see the front end was backed into by one of my friends, and a few minor dings and dents. Nothing that couldn't be fixed easily, I just chose not to because of money issues) Car has a lein through Elga credit union in Burton, MI. My reserve is set at what I owe, I am not really trying to pocket a bunch of money from this car I just need to get out of debt. Times are tough up here in Michigan.
