For sale is my 2004 Toyota Tacoma Pre-runner. I bought this truck brand new from a Toyota dealership in Baton Rouge and have been the only driver of the vehicle. The only mechanical repair ever done was a new O2 sensor installed and new front rotors and brake pads. Oil was changed every three thousand miles until approximately 50,000 miles when I started using Mobil 1 Synthetic oil and changing it every 7,500 miles since, which has been twice. The vehicle has minor dings and scratches as expected for an eight year old vehicle. The vehicle has never been wrecked and new tires were installed approximately 5 thousand miles ago. A 4 wheel alignment check was performed at that time and was not needed. A new battery was installed approximately 4 years ago. Known issue's: The plastic molding on the driver seat cracked and was removed, shown in pictures.Windshield has a crack extending across the bottom section of the glass, shown in pictures.Back passenger side seat has about a five inch section where the sewing came apart when I had placed six glass shelves for transport. Fabric is not torn, as shown in pictures.Solenoid for remote bed cover lock went out, but I have a new one to replace it. Both the tailgate and bed cover locks operate with the factory remote door openers. Besides the issues noted above, the truck is in excellent condition for it's age. For the entire life of the truck, I lived about 5 miles from my office so the majority of the miles have been from weekend road trips. No kids have ever driven this vehicle. The truck has never been used in the mud or for off-road type activities. The luggage rack was installed on the roof, but has not ever been used. I have the cross bars (2) in my storage shed. The truck has never been smoked in. Two remotes and two keys are included along with a key to manually lock the bed cover. Buyer is responsible for the arrangement and cost of shipping. I will work with the owner on the logistics for pick up or shipping. If other requirements are needed, it must be confirmed with me prior to close of bid. The vehicle is available for local pick up and folks are welcome and encouraged to come inspect it before the the end of the sale. I will answer any questions you may have during the bidding process. Bill of Sale and Title transfer will be handled by our local Justice of the Peace Officer and her notary. The vehicle insurance has been cancelled and the license plate has been turned in to the Louisiana DMV. A $2000.00 deposit is required (PayPal only) within 48 hours of ending bid, balance is due within 5 business days after the bidding is completed. Terms are not negotiable.
