I am listing this car for a friend (Jerry): For sale is a 1966 Ford Fairlane 500XL, 390 "H" Code. The car has many trim items that are GT; however, this car is not a GT. The car presently has a 390 cubic inch engine with aluminium 4-barrell intake, Ford top loader 4-speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter and a 9 inch rear end. The car drives very good. The engine has some lifter/rocker arm noise. I am not sure what it is. The car has an electric fan as well as a regular fan and spacer, competition headers with flowmaster mufflers, a new NAPA battery, new carpet, new front seat covers, new 3-gauge cluster under the dash. The car came with a indash AC and power steering. The AC compressor and hoses are missing as well as the power steering pump, etc. The car is from California. It came to the midwest approximately 4-5 years ago. I purchased the car from a fellow in Oklahoma in April. He had owned it for 2 years. The body is straight and appears to be rust free. I have a lift so I have provided numerous pictures underneath to document how solid the car is. The car is being sold "as is, where is". If you have any questions before you bid, please let me know.
