For sale is my 1976 Ford Elite. Same body model as the 74-75 Gran Torino Elite, but Ford dropped the "Gran Torino" name in 75. I believe the odometer is accurate. Clear Michigan title. The photos are actual. I think I am the 4th owner. This Elite is unrestored and unmolested with no evidence of body work. It is my daily driver. People compliment me EVERY DAY on the car and when I've had it at shows or parades it's usually the only one of its kind. Engine (351M- Cleveland family) Starts every time, idles and runs fine. The car drives well on the highway and side streets with no issues. The transmission shifts perfectly. Features: Matching factory wire wheel covers with chrome wheel well trim. Sports rally gauge cluster. Trans cooler and wiring for towing option. Factory landau vinyl top with double opera windows. Factory fat red 70's side vinyl trim molding- good condition Factory cruise control. Factory Power steering (That smooth easy 1970's one-finger steering type)- works great no leaks or whine Factory air conditioning system is 100% complete, compressor works, but does not blow cold. Factory electronic ignition (no points to worry about). Factory tilt wheel. Factory Original AM-FM radio. Factory dual sport mirrors with remote interior adjustment control. New parts: Brand new Sears Diehard Gold battery Water pump Upper and lower radiator hoses Fuel pump and rubber fuel lines. Alternator. Voltage regulator. Brake master cylinder. Front brake pads. Rear wheel cylinder and shoes. Kill switch. Newer plugs, wires, distributor cap, air cleaner and thermostat. Body: Glass is all good- no chips or cracks. No dents from accidents- several scratches and small coin-sized shopping cart type dings. Floor pans and frame are all very solid. Bumpers straight and solid- rear bumper minor pitting, but not flaking or rusted through Only rust hole is a hand-sized spot on lower drivers side front fender. Paint on body is smooth and not cracking, peeling or orange peeling. White-wall tires. Has white-wall spare with original old school jack. Interior: Headliner perfect. Carpet is 70's thick pile. Front seats look good, but drivers side has small tears starting. Rear seats are perfect. Armrests are good and not cracked. Visors complete and functional with pass vanity mirror. Day-night rear view mirror. I would not hesitate to drive this car home after the sale (I drive it every day and on the highway weekly), but since this Ford is 35+ years old I refuse to make guarantees.
