Dodge Viper GTS, low mileage original Steel Gray Pearlcoat, no stripes, with black leather interior. Just 19,555 miles, every service done, every oil change, no paintwork, no track time, fully maintained. Virtually 100% stock.Original owner, bought from Fitzgerald Motorsports in Laconia, NH Engine, transmission: Car starts on first twist of key every time, idles smoothly, holds full oil pressure. New battery, with the car trickle charged during the winter. The 450+ HP engine is an absolute delight, thoroughly reliable, smooth, and even has decent road mileage. With care I can get about 21 mpg on interstate journeys. Engine is stock except for K&N filters. Car shifts through the gears perfectly. Clutch uptake is firm. The car runs and drives excellently with no known mechanical needs. Interior – Just the plain Viper interior. The seats, door panels, dash, headliner, console are all in excellent condition.Some of the leatherette in the trunk is slightly torn and the liftgate struts are in need of replacement with new ones (already purchased but not installed). All gauges work perfectly, the air blows ice cold, power mirrors, windows all work as new. All glass is perfect, unscratched, clear. Stereo is the original factory single CD unit, works perfectly. Brakes, suspension, steering, tires – Everything is in proper order here and has been Viper-Tech serviced. Car has stock suspension. Wheels have some curb rash- due to living and parking in Boston with its high granite curbs. Exterior – Factory Steel Gray pearlcoat has some scratches on the hood and a few pips on the sides. Summary – This car has been outstanding. Always trustworthy, I’ve taken it on several trips. It's quite the attention getter- always gets thumbs up on the road. It is a comfortable cruiser, easy to live with, and super fast. It can rocket to 105mph in 3rd gear without breathing hard, and onto 192 in 6th. Most impressively, it cruises at 1600rpm at 70 in 6th gear. It is extremely capable in all regards. It just as much fun to run through the gears as it is raising the hood at the gas station for the fans. To my eye, the Viper GTS is one of the best looking American cars ever made.
