17" Chrome Alloy Wheels: These are the factory optional chrome wheels. I had them put on at the dealer before I took delivery.
Airaid Cold Air Intake with K&N Air Filter and Throttle Body Spacer: These were installed professionally at the Dodge dealer where the Durango was purchased. They enhace fuel economy and performance.
Magnaflow Free Flow Exhaust: Also professionally installed at the Dodge dealer where the Durango was purchased. This exhaust also enhances fuel economy and performance. It sounds absolutely awesome!
History of this Durango: I leased this vehicle new in April, 2004 from the Dodge dealership in Newton, NJ where I worked for 15 years. I bought out the lease in July, 2007 because we absolutely loved it. It has NEVER been in an accident. It has been meticulousy maintained. I have pretty much every service record. Some I don't because having many mechanic friends at the dealership some work was done on a cash after hours deal. Let me just say this vehicle has never wanted for anything. It has been maintained religiously by me. It has the factory tow package. I have NEVER towed a thing. Not even a bike rack. It has the factory skid plate group. I have NEVER taken it off roading. It have only used synthetic oil for all its oil changes. I had professionally installed the Airaid Cold Air Intake, Throttle body spacer and Magnaflow exhaust to enhance fuel economy and performance. The exhaust also sounds awesome but not to loud.
This Durango has been adult owned, very well maintained and not abused or raced around. It is a real straight up super cool ride.
Service and Maintenance recently done:
59,269 miles: Brand New P265/65R17 Firestone Destination A/T OWL Tires installed.
67,565 miles: Brand New front and rear Rotors and Pads installed.
72,475 miles: Synthetic oil and filter change.
All oil changes and tire rotations have been performed on a better than regular schedule. Anything it has needed it got.
The vehicle passed New Jersey inspection in April of this year. NJ inspection sticker is valid until April, 2014.
PLEASE BE ADVISED: This is an AS-IS auction. Remember this is a pre-owned vehicle. It does exhibit the typical cosmetic flaws from just being driven. There are a few dings, some scuffs and minor scratches on the body. There is a small dent at the edge of the hood from an errant thrown football by my son. The plastic shroud at the edge of the drivers seat it is cracked. This is typical for these models. They are for sale on ebay for under $50 if you want to replace it. On the drivers door panel there is are two small burn marks by the power mirror switch. I don't know who did it. My wife or son. No one will admit to it. There are interior repair people that can fix it for about $50-60 if you want to. This is by no means a smokers car. Although it has been smoked in on occassion. Interior still looks and smells great. There is a little nick on the interior passenger side rear door panel. No idea what happened there. There are few rather small dings that are pointed out in the photos. The rear bumper has some scuffs on the passenger side. I did that backing up in a tight spot at a neighbors house. You can buy a brand new bumper skin for about $150 on ebay. It can also just be repaired at any body shop for about $200 or so depending on who you know. You can see the scuffs in the photos. The bumper looks much better in person. There is a ding on the tailgate. There is an area of bubbling paint on the drivers side quarter panel near the wheel well. This is also typical for this model and can be repaired by any body shop for about $200. Again, depending on who you know. These cosmetic flaws can be seen in the photos. They can be addressed or ignored by the new owner. Overall this Durango is in fantastic condition. It looks and runs great!
