This is a beauty - a psychedelic camper van. she needs some TLC. I towed it home when the engine started knocking a year and a half ago and I have been too busy to be able to tinker. She is definately a diamond in the rough. I don't want her to rot sitting in my driveway. There is some rust - remember she is 40 years old. There is foam sprayed on the underside from the previous owner. The poptop needs some mending or replaced. I think it may be insulation for camping. I have the interior fridge piece. I was driving it as a daily car (winter and summer) until 18 months ago. the engine started knocking so I towed it home. It is old and well used. If I was keeping her I would fix: the engine knock, replace the muffler, engine tins, brake lines, turn signal switch, driver seat, repair/replace the camper canvas screens and remove the spray foam from the underside and change the tires from car tires to truck tires. I don't see the paint being removed - that is part of the character of this bus.
