Up for sale is a 1974 Datsun 260Z. I have over $10,000.00 invested in it. The car runs and drives great. The body is straight and has fresh paint which is Corvette red (Victory Red). The body kit was also professionally installed. There are a few minor issues which I will fully disclose. The tachometer and the temperature guage do not work, . We replaced the temperature switch which was a 75.00 part but did not fix the guage. I unfortunately do not know what is wrong with the tachometer. There is also a small oil leak. Everything else on the car is fully functional. AFTER SEEING SOME OF THE RECEIPTS I HAVE COME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT IT HAS 160,709 MILES INSTEAD. I ALSO FOUND THAT THE ORGINAL OWNED WHO LIVED IN TEXAS HAD BOUGHT THE CAR NEW AND PUT OVER 100,000 MILES ON IT. HE ALSO HAD A ATK REMANUFACTURED ENGINE INSTALLED ON 10/19/92 AND MILEAGE AT THAT TIME WAS 149,395. THE CAR AFTER THAT WASN'T DRIVEN VERY MUCH. HE WAS CHARGED $1428.00 FOR THE ENGINE AND THE TOTAL BILL WITH LABOR WAS $2364.00. i'M SORRY I DIDN'T CHECK THIS OUT BEFORE BUT TRUSTED THAT THE PERSON I BOUGHT IT FROM WOULD OF TOLD ME. THIS IS NOT A SHOW CAR AND DOES HAVE A FEW FLAWS. THE HOOD LOOKS GOOD BUT THERE IS A FEW SPOTS WHERE AFTER BEING PAINTED YOU CAN NOTICE SOME FLAWS. THE REST OF THE PAINT LOOKS GREAT. THE SEATS ARE BRAND NEW BUT THE DRIVERS SEAT HAS A COUPLE OF RUB SPOTS AND PASSENGER SEAT ALSO HAS ONE SPOT. I WANT TO SELL VEHICLE BUT WANT TO BE AS HONEST AS POSSIBLE DOING SO.
