This car was fully restored and no expense was spared. The car is an original 340 4 speed plum crazy purple car. It was built for the Canadian market and has the Y07 code. I purchased this car in 2003 from a guy in Vancouver Canada. The car had just finished a full rotisserie restoration. I have many pictures of the restoration during the process. Every part of the car was either restored or replaced. The underside of this car is as nice as the top. The paint in the engine compartment is as nice as the car. The guy owned a transmission shop so the transmission and rear end were professionally done. This is not a stock type restoration. The motor was built using all the best parts. It was dyno tested before it was installed in the car and made 400 HP and 400 lbs of torque. I have the dyno sheets. The owner decided to use the 1971 Duster stripe and the hood scoop to give it a better look. He also used the pistol grip shifter which is a lot of fun to drive. In the 9 years that I have owned it I have driven it less than 500 miles. You will not find a nicer 1970 Duster. The orange box is attached using the screw for the wiper reservoir Custom car cover I also have the factory exhaust manifolds, valve covers, air cleaner and a painted manifold that will go with the car.
