Hrobinson1230 Store Thank You for looking at our eBay posting. . . .please check our feedback. . it is 100% POSITIVE. . . so bid with complete confidence. . . .if you are in the market for a beautiful Rolls Royce Spur. . .look no further. . . . This is a 1990 Rolls Royce Silver Spur II . . . .with THE BEST possible color combination of Masons black with black leather interior with black Everflex roof. . . THIS IS A GREAT FIND! ! ! . . .A BEAUTY . . It was owned by an elderly Doctor in North Carolina - I bought it from his estate auction a few months ago - this was a GARAGED - ESTATE CAR. The main thing with ANY car is . . .the engine . . .the transmission. . . .and the brakes. . . .they are all fine on this car. I have owned a few Rolls & Bentley's over the years. . .and follow them on eBay . . .in my opinion there are two types of Rolls Royce's on eBay . . . first you have the ones in the 1981-1988 range. . .that are usually odd ugly colors like powder blue, beige or gold, brown . . .they pretty much always seem to have a very dried out worn interiors, heavily flawed wood, worn / cracked paint and just overall very "tired" looking . . . .sure they sell for 10K but most of them need 20K worth of work. . . .then the other type you see on eBay are the 1992-1996 models that usually START at $35,000+ - $45,000+ range. . . . . .it seems the early to mid 90's models don't come up. . . THIS ONE IS RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE. . . .it's beautiful usable driver . . . it was driven just 4,300 miles per year (99k) . . .on the subject of miles don't let ANYONE tell you that a low mileage Rolls is the way to go. . .these cars need to be driven . . .exercised . .fluids need to move. . . the worst thing for ANY car is to just have it sit. The paint is very nice (looks like a beautiful, high quality re spray) . . the Everflex roof is in great shape, no lifting, no tears, no fading or bubbles . . .interior is amazing, burl instrument panel wood is banded and in great shape. it has the burl picnic tables in the rear. the one thing I must say is that the paint, wood, chrome EVERYTHING is very nice and glossy / shiny. . . also the fact that it has an airbag makes the interior look much newer. . .overall the car looks, runs and drives great . . .being that this car is FRESH from an estate it has not been gone through . . . .however it runs, shifts, drives, stops fine . . . don't be concerned with service or parts. YES. . .like ANY car if you go to the dealership service will be expensive. . . luckily you can get pretty much ANYTHING you need for this car from eBay . . .(at VERY reasonable prices) both new and used. . . and I have found any competent mechanic can work on these cars. I drove it a few hundred miles and really love it (the mileage now is 99k , (I drive it daily and it will be higher by time auction is over) . . . the ONLY reason I am selling it is because I just bought a 1978 Rolls Royce Corniche that I have been bugging the man that owns it to sell it to me for at least 10 years. . .a WEEK after I bought it he called to tell me he wanted to sell it. . . . I also have a Range Rover and I cant have all these cars here. there is NO rust, looks GREAT underneath, the car was from Georgia originally . . .the wood throughout the car is very good with minor flaws . . .original mohair headliner is in GREAT shape - No major blemishes or dents are found anywhere on the body. both front and rear bumpers are in very good shape with the expected minor flaws (being 22 years old) - this Silver Spur II was $159,990 in 1990 . . .the current NADA price is between $28,000 and $38,000 . . . . its VERY reasonable to register (as antique or classic) and to insure (we currently have FULL coverage with stated value of 25k for $415 per year). . . . all power options seem to work, the information screen has it variety of lights that blink on and off (check engine, brake pressure, etc) but don't seem to stay lit for long. Options: A/C (not cold) - P/STEERING - P/BRAKES - P/LOCKS - P/WINDOWS - ORIGINAL WHEEL COVERS - VANITY LIGHTS - PICNIC TABLES - NEWER CD PLAYER w/remote - CAR COVER - ALL ORIGINAL MANUALS - ORIGINAL KEYS w/factory leather key ring - ALL POWER SEATS (even rear seats are POWER) - original cellular phone built into rear center console, MANY MANY MORE OPTIONS - The V-8 engine runs great it starts with a turn of the key. runs fine but would benefit from tune up. runs at the correct temperature and it does not seem to smoke or leak anything. the motor and engine bay is pretty clean and dry, my PERSONAL opinion would be to give it a full tune up just because the car was used very little in the past five years as his health was failing. on that subject I would not be 100% comfortable driving it home until a mechanic checks it out . . .the steering is nice and tight, transmission shifts smoothly. Vehicles can be shipped very reasonably using www.Uship.com . . . I shipped it here from North Carolina to Connecticut for $525 . . . . I have also had luck using Craigslist for auto shipping (under automotive services) tires all match and have plenty of tread life left on them. the car retains the original factory wheel covers (all in great shape) - there is a chip / crack on the passenger side tail light . .the trunk does not always open (with button or the key) . .it opens about 1" to the "first click" and then wont open. . .I know there is a full set of hard bound owners manuals and a car cover . . and I believe a bunch of service records. . . .also the fuel release button does not work . . . if you have read this far. . .I don't need to say this but you are looking at a 22 year old Rolls Royce . . they have quirks. . .squeaks . . .and annoying flaws . . .I am sure you all know what you are getting involved in. . . . This is truly a beautiful, completely handmade car that will definitely appreciate in value with time this was a BRITISH MADE CAR - CREWE ENGLAND - now that the Rolls & Bentley names have been sold the new ones are not considered "real" ones by purists . . . . our starting price is just $4995 - we will not end auctions early and we don't have a buy it now price - NO PAYPAL . . . . it has a clear North Carolina title and Bill of Sale . . .we will hold the car as long as you need us to (as long as it's paid for) - winning the bid means you are buying it - NOT THE RIGHT TO COME AND KICK THE TIRES ARE THEN DECIDE IF YOU WILL TAKE IT - sold MEANS sold - I will be on vacation for the next two weeks but I can answer any question via e-mail. . . .Thank You
