Truck drives like a dream, sounds really nice, responds fast, has great stability and control. This truck is so on the ground that it feels just like you are driving a dually. The transmission shifts so smooth you won't even notice it's shifting. No leaks, no smoke, no warning lights on the gauge. To top everything off, this truck is extremely economic. We are getting about 19 mpg on highway @65mph. But it all depends on how you drive. Proper oil change and tire pressure also play a big role on fuel consumption, so good maintenance is key to any truck. This truck is very easy to maintain and the 6.0 is the best motor Ford has on the market. It combines the best features of all the motors from the last decade - it's fast like the 6.4, but reliable and easy to work on like the 7.3. EXTERIOR The exterior paint is nearly perfect. We polished it to restore its shine and there are no dents or flaws to report. Ford OEM 20" Harley Davidson rims and center caps are A+ on this truck. Tires are in great condition. Underneath truck looks very clean, no rust. Gooseneck hitch you may see on the pictures is not included. INTERIOR Truck is clean and overall excellent condition. It does not have any water smell, looks like nothing ever happened. Leather on seats are in excellent condition. Carpet is also clean, stain and damage free. All power windows, door locks, power mirrors work. AC blows super cold. CD player works fine. WHAT WE DID We got it straight from the insurance auction. Truck was fairly clean (only regular dust from sitting at the auction). Could not see a water line inside the truck, although there was some mud underneath. First thing we did was to check the oil. There was no water on the fluids, but we flushed and replace them anyway. On the electrical side, we only had to replace the computer. Truck started right up after that and it's been driving very good. There's no water smell inside and you can never tell what happened. A person that does not know the history can not tell is a salvage. We installed the Harley rims, headlights and grille to give the truck a nicer look, not because it was needed. AFTER THE PRUCHASE We chose not to inspect the truck in Florida just yet because we know that there are some states that will issue a clean title after truck goes for inspection. So we will give you all paperwork you need to get it inspected it in your own state. We fix our trucks right, using either brand new or quality used OEM Ford parts only. We are confident on the trucks we have, and if we don't sell it, we just keep it for a while and have no problems driving it. This way we can assure we are delivering the best truck that we can and you can drive safe and pleased with what you got. Truck is priced right to make new owner happy with the purchase. And we strongly believe this truck is worth every penny you will pay for!!! We encourage you to come see and drive the truck as we believe it's way better in person than on the pictures. Salvage is the way to go when you don't want to pay big bucks for a truck. You buy it for couple of thousands cheaper than a clean title and when you decide to sell it with a lot of mileage you can get as much as you would on a clean title truck. The difference is you put a lot of miles and a bunch of money in your pocket. ***** There are over 100 pictures for you to see at http://www.flickr.com/photos/39947792@N03/sets/72157629383068738 Truck is located in Davenport, FL and we can ship it anywhere in the US for a super low price - email us with your zip code for a quote. SALVAGE FACTS If you are considering buying a salvage vehicle but not sure how it works, here is some step-by-step info we put together to help you out. Remember that laws change from state to state, but this is pretty standard for all Motor Vehicle Departments. There are some states, however, that will give you a clean title after the truck passes the inspection. For further info, visit your local DMV website or give them a call. Step 1 Once you receive your vehicle, save the receipts for the parts used and labor involved on repairing the truck. Step 2 Contact your local DMV to schedule a salvage inspection. Step 3 By the time of inspection, you will have to fill out a DMV form with the vehicle information and list all major parts/components replaced on the vehicle and attach the receipts. Step 4 Once the vehicle passes inspection, you can go and register it just like any other vehicle. In most states you will receive a rebuilt salvage title, but in some states, you may even get a clean title afterwards. Check your local DMV for details.
