This is a beautiful example of Buick at its finest! This iconic vehicle has all the chrome and luxury features that were the hallmark of the 1980s. As you approach, the classic lines are set off by the beautifil Red Firemist finish, the chrome wire wheel covers and the long hood and trunk. As you open the door, the interior appears luxuriously soft and comfortable, yet supportive for driving the boulevard or highway. This vehicle is loaded with power windows, power door locks, security system (aftermarket), power brakes and steering. The rearview mirror is updated with autodim along with temp/compass. The lights are automatic both on and off. There is a power trunk release in the glove box and it still has the original owner's manual. This vehicle comes with the dealer window sticker and sales brochure. General Motors Buick manuals and additional parts such as grille, interior dash trim pieces and other items that are very difficult to locate. She had a company car and this car was used for special occasions. When she was no longer able to drive, she gave it to her company partner's son and he stored it for approximately 15 years. When we purchased it there was 54,000 miles on the odometer - all origianal. We have all paperwork from the date we purchased it. The transmission was rebuilt and the a/c was converted to R-134. This beauty is ready for someone else to make a good home. While I have tried to keep thing as original as possible, some things needed updating. The paint on the hood and trunk and above the chrome trim line is new - the original had the "chicken feet" cracks. This paint job was $2000.00. The stereo is updated with a single cd drive - this is a gm stereo. I have the original to go with the buyer - some digits were not working and wanted cd. All work has been documented. Additionally, we have a cCARFAX report that we ran from 2-3 months ago. Just to clarify on mileage; when we had the car inspected upon arrival in Texas, the tech showed the mileage as 154,xxx rather than 54,xxx.
