You are bidding on a 1974 Mercedes Benz 450SL Convertible. I also have the hard top that is part of the purchase price. The vehicle belonged to my late father who had this as a bit of a project car. To keep things simple, here is a list of what needs attention: - Front end suspension is loose and may need ball joints serviced - Battery- car has been garaged (until 2 months ago) and battery needs replaced - Hood: has a rust spot with the paint peeling, oxidation is only on the surface of this location Other than previously stated, the car is in decent shape and with some TLC can be a very classy ride. I don't have the time or desire to keep and love the car as my father did so hopefully you will. With the sale I am including all the spare parts and manuals (factory manuals as well as aftermarket, you will be very pleased with the amount of documentation). Clear title. I will not deliver the vehicle as I recommend a trailer to move it and I do not own a vehicle hauler. I can however accommodate any reasonable arrangement you wish to work out. If you wish, I can start the car up via jumper cables or even provide a video of that for what it may be worth if so desired. If you have any questions please let me know.
