These motors were used from the late 80’s up until the mid 2000’s. Because of new emission laws the displacement was changed and the reliability and excellent fuel mileage changed as well. Mechanically this truck is A-1, the motor is dry on top and bottom, and really runs strong. The 6 speed manual transmission shifts very well and the clutch feels firm. The 4 wheel drive is on the floor (not some Mickey Mouse electronic system) and is in great working order as well. This truck has been well taken care of and it shows. This truck has plenty of life left; you can look online and easily find examples with mileage well into the 300k range. Cosmetically the truck looks great, the body is rust free and looks to have never been hooked up to a 5th wheel ball or hitch. The cloth seats are holding up well, the only complaint I would have is the dash has a small crack on the driver’s side (typical Dodge problems). If paying by cashier's check, we will release the vehicle but the title will be held for 10 business days, and sent to the buyer via traceable mail. If paying by wire or cash you may take possession of the vehicle and the title that same day. A 30 day temporary tag will be provided. All ebay buyers will be charged documentation and temp tag fees totaling $150. Illinois buyers only must pay applicable sales tax, and registration fees.
