HELLO, WELCOMETO MY AUCTION, my offering to you today is a 1940 ford pickup truck, this truck has been in the family for a really long time. my family has enjoyed driving this truck. she drives beautifuly very easy no bondo fillers to handle. she was restored in 1988. at that time a chevy 350 crate motor was installed with a new 700R transmission with shift kit. the rear end is chevy as well 10 inch. the interior was installed new at that time light gray. one little tear in seam easy fix. she has air conditioning works great she has a cd player and radio. tires are in good condition. motor runs really well, transmissions shifts just find. she has no leaks from motor or transmission. the body is all steel. no fiberglas. nice straight panels with no fillers so there is no cracking. she is very pretty to look at,her finish does show some wear. new paint would be wonderful. but she turns heads everywhere she is driven. we have enjoyed driving her in local car club benifits, to those in need, and the childrens hospital. everything functions on the truck. the bed is stainless steel in good condition. she has electric fuel pump. the radiator is beautiful polished brass. engine compartment is clean. windows roll up and down nicely small crack in one windshield hardly noticeable see picture. radio plays cd plays as well. this truck body is in excellent condition not rusty at all. a beautiful truck for someone to enjoy. and for those of you over seas i will be happy to assist your freight company with shipping, buyer responsible for all cost of shipping. i have sold several classic cars to over seas buyers.. this truck does have a clear title. the buyer will be responsible for pickup or arrangement for carrier. i thank you for looking and am happy to answer all your questions. there will be a 200.00 non refundable deposit to paypal 24 hours end of auction. balance due 5 days end of auction. if you are the winning bidder contact me thru ebay with your phone number. i will call you. thank you.........go bidOn Jun-17-12 at 19:20:54 PDT, seller added the following information: update on truck i have had a lot of questions,the rear in is a chevy 10 bolt not 10 inch. the door glass is safety glass, the tires are almost new, new battery installed during regular service last week. i am sorry there are no pics of under charriage i will post if i can. the complete frame, front to rear was installed when truck was redone. the underside looks real good. please not e,that the seat tilts forward, there you will find the battery compartment, the electronic eginition in its compartment and a cb radio nicely tucked away very clean.the brake master cylinder is mounted under drivers side floor with nice access panel. plug wires are run under truck nice and neat to keep engine compartment clean also has electric fan. headlamp switch cigarette lighter and cab lamp are mounted just under and behind dash nicely done push pull knobs. thank all of you.
