Vehicle Detail
1967 Plymouth Barracuda Commando 273 (has 340 in it now) Overall a decent driver needing to be cleaned up and some small spots to fix. Has a couple places around front rubber windshield gasket that need scraped and treated. Also, couple spots inside trunk on the extensions. Nothing major anywhere, just disclosing what I can see it needs. Car can be driven anywhere. Disc Brakes (factory 4-piston small pattern) work excellent. Gas guage doesn't work, though. 340 is VERY strong. Not sure of the cam in it, but it sounds nasty and gets looks everywhere we've taken it around town. Transmission is 727 with manual valve body which is FUN to play with ;) 8-3/4 rearend with sure-grip. I think it is a 4.10 ratio, but guy I bought it from says 4.56. At 60 mph, you're taching 3000 rpm. Car has small pattern rallye wheels. Dual exhaust and dumps at rearend. Interior is original and has a couple aftermarket guages installed. Comes with extra hood and couple sets of inserts, too. Cool car to have and drive. On Jun-18-12 at 04:56:43 PDT, seller added the following information: Reserve is $5000 Also included in sale: Box of miscellaneous interior items for 67 Barracuda. Also have grille parking lamps and misc other small stuff that goes with it. Not included, but will sell for right price, I have a NEW upper trunk lid trim piece (perfect condition). Also not included, but will sell, Formula S trunk panel - used, but nice piece.
