I have for sale a 1975 BMW 2002 automatic.  It has 64,150 original miles it run and drives great.  I purchased it for my wife a year ago and she lost interest in driving it so it just sits in my garage.  I replaced some of the front end components, new front and rear struts, new tires, new fuel tank, rotors brake pads, and had the front and rear seats re stuffed with foam by an professional upholstery shop.  Last fall the windshield was cracked by a tree limb that fell on it, it did no other damage other than the windshield.  The interior and carpet looks almost new no cracks in the dash, door panels are nice and almost no sign that this car sat out in the sun.  I bought the car off an older gentleman who had the car since the early eighties.  He had the car repainted at some point because he didn't like the original green it was.  I pulled up the carpets to check for floor rot and rust and there was none the trunk and shock towers are also rust free.  Both front fenders have rust starting to bubble at the lower corners but that seems to be the only rust I can see.  I don't believe this car was ever driven in the winter and I know it was garage kept since the early eighties.  The car has the original solex carburetor and starts right up and idles nice with good smooth acceleration on the road.  I have the original tool kit three different manuals and a few extra parts that the previous owner had collected over the years.  I have a clear title in my name the car is registered and state inspected.  I drive the car about once a month the rest of the time it sits in my garage.
