1953 Ford F-100, flat head V8 with three speed standard transmission, column shift. This truck runs good and drives good for its age. The fuel pump has gone bad in it and the battery doesn't hold a charge, but other than that, it is driveable. It is nearly all original with the exception of the tires (which are brand new), hub caps and a new tailgate latch kit installed that eliminates the old latch and chain set up and replaces it with a latch system on the inside of the tailgate. The original bed floor has been replaced with a sheet of steel and is in good condition. It still has the original 6 volt electrical system and the original motor and trans. The grill, headlight assemblies, emblems, bumpers and spare tire carrier are all included but not installed. They were removed to paint the truck. It has been sprayed with a black base coat but needs to be wet sanded and have clear coat applied. This truck is perfect for someone who wants to either do an original restoration since it is so complete or for someone wanting to do a street rod project and is wanting to start with a vehicle that won't require starting from scratch. It is not perfect, but it is an unrestored 1953 truck. You won't find a more complete project vehicle around and you won't be disappointed in this truck, believe me! Bid with confidence!
