Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Classic Charlie Morgan design centerboard sloop. Well equipped for short or long term cruising. Forward v-berth sleeps two, two comfortable quarter-berths, and the setee in salon can be converted to sleep two. Keel stepped mast and standing rigging in good condition. The chain-plates were re-bedded in spring 2010. Main, Genoa and barely used working Jib included. 5,000 lb enclosed lead keel makes Miss Sheila very stable in weather and points well with the 250 lb. bronze centerboard down. Presently on the hard and Shrink-wrapped/winterized with storage paid through May 2012. Well maintained Yanmar 3GM30F w/ closed cooling system. Belts, hoses and alternator all replaced within last four years. Brand new mixing elbow installed in 2011. Freshwater strainer and fuel lines new in 2006. Five year old marine head with 15 gallon holding tank. 26 gallon fuel tank new in 2006. 40 gallon fresh water tank. New rudder and bearings in 2009. There is a new Blue Sea 13 circuit panel-board with a 80 Amp breaker, 2 position battery switch and 2 batteries. The DC wiring replaced throughout in 2006. In the Galley is a gimbled, three burner propane stove w/ oven with two propane tanks, stored in the aft lazarette. A propane cutoff switch is installed in the forward stbd bulkhead but is not hooked up to the system yet. Plenty of storage space. Electronics/Navigation include a Standard Horizon VHF, Datamarine Depth Sounder, JRC-1000, 1.4KW Radar and a Richie Navigator Compass. A Schaefer 2100 Roller Furling for the head sail. The Main is set-up with a Dutchman Flaking System and Harken Single line Reefing System.Miss Sheila is ready to sail but to be honest, there are a couple things that need attention such as it is probably time to replace the center-board pendant as well as the pulley for it just aft of the mast base. The sails are fair, standing rigging is tight, running rigging is in fair condition and the Yanmar is a re-power in the mid 90's that runs great.
