This is a great original cruiser, I looked a long time before finding one this solid and complete. I bought it last august from a school superintendant whose family had owned it since 1980. He had the Vo-Tech shop class repaint it and get the lights working so he could hunt with it. He said that his father in law had a new Toyota motor installed at around 80,000 miles but had no documentation. The front seats, tail lights and turn signals are the only things not original. The rear heat is in tact and WORKS! I have done nothing to this rig but change the oil, put tires on it and drive it. My hunting camp is 120 miles from my house and it has made the trip several times, BUT it does drive like a land cruiser. Loves the gravel and trails, hates the highway. I would drive it anywhere but thats just me. My wife loves it but refuses to drive it anywhere but gravel rods and trails, but thats just her. This is a great chance to get your hands on a complete, pretty original rig that would work the way it is or make a super restoration candidate. The Good Needs Attention original 2f engine runs great no smoke no leaks (supposed to be a new Toyota motor at 80,000???) I don't think it has any seals in the top, and needs most of the bolts for it rear heat works Brakes will stop it but are hard to get to know solid, original, complete Starter solenoid has a nasty habit of clicking (hasn't left me stranded yet, fingers crossed) new slave cylinder installed (clutch master cyl from SOR included in box) In my opinion it need the original turn signals put back, looks to much like a jeep with these! Like I said, great rig. I bought it to restore because my brother's had one for years. I'm going to hate myself for selling this thing in the fall, but two muscle car projects and a recently purchased wrecked Harley are eating money.
