Here is a one of kind 1969 Volkswagen Beetle Ratrod, Its Fast , Its Loud and its for sale at no reserve! This car is a real head turner read below all the details!The car is powered by a VW 1600 duel port motor, the odometer shows 74420 miles the owner believes to be original. All maintenance is up to date and was just given a tune-up including new belt, new gas filter, spark plugs and wires and all new hoses. The motor pulls very strong, the car being very light weight is surprisingly fast! The transmission is a VW 4 speed manual short shift with EMPI shift knob, all gears go in and change easily, and the clutch is also good shape.The interior front and rear seats were recently redone in red vinyl and are as new; the dash was shaved and painted in flat red. All gauges and knobs work as they should. The carpets are a bit rough but still look good, The door panels on both sides were also redone in red vinyl to match the rest of the interior and the A custom made chain link steering wheel was added.The body, as you can see in the pictures has had a lot of work done. It has been completely gone over to remove all rust and then was copped and shaved and painted flat black. First, the complete floor was replaced with brand new sheet metal and painted flat black, the front fenders have been taken off and the rear fenders have also been shaved down. The doors handles have been shaved and the car as no roof. The front windshield frame was shaved smooth and replaced with plexi glass. The front headlights were replaced with factory lights from a 1932 Ford; it has tail lights and indicators in the rear.The car has brand new drum brakes that have been painted to match the rest of the car, the front suspension features a lower beam and the wheel base has been extended. The factory 15 inch VW wheels have been painted in the same paint scheme as the rest of the car, the tires were purchased recently and have less than 100 miles on them, and they are staggered in size. The front tires have a whitewall kit installed and the rears are true whitewall's.
