Up for auction is a good running 1982 Volkswagen Diesel Rabbit! This little car runs great, however there is some work this car will need before it is road ready. The car has been parked for quite a while and the reason it was parked originally was due to the alternator going out. Since then the brake lines going to the back have rusted and will need replaced. The car fired right up after setting for several months, but that was pull starting it in the yard. The glow plug system and the cooling fan system may or may not work, I have not tested these systems. I do know the alternator needs replaced. I drove the car five or six miles the other day and it ran 60 or 70 down the road. The car definitely needs some fixing but the car is solid. I cannot detect any rust on the floor boards or strut towers. Interior is rough as well. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer.
