1984 Porsche 944 5 speed project car. This is not a broke-down parts car, it’s a running, driving restoration project. 31,606 on odometer, but no way of knowing how actual miles. I purchased this car because I needed a 944 engine & this engine runs strong with good compression. I was able to repair the other engine, so I don't need this car anymore & too many projects, including a 914 that's turning into a money pit! Updated Porsche “phone dial” rims with good tires. NEW WINDSHIELD. Power windows that work, power steering, sunroof. The previous owner intended to turn this into a race car & removed the heater blower and controls. Its condition is unknown & not installed, but included with the sale. This model has an A/C compressor, but who knows if it works? At one point, this car was silver/gray in color, but was repainted white (poor job) Interior is functional, but rough & no headliner, some pieces like kick panels & so forth are missing. The interior door panels are in very nice condition. The gauges work, including the Odometer & trip odometer. There is no radio or stereo, nor are the heater/A/C/ blower fan controls installed (see above.) The body is pretty much straight & true with no evidence of bondo or major repairs. Someone attempted to jack this car in the incorrect location & somewhat crumpled the lower section near the drivers front fender panel (see photo) Obviously, this car will need some primer & painting if you restore it. THIS IS A RUNNING, DRIVING PROJECT CAR & is priced as such. NO TITLE on a vehicle this age, Georgia Bill of Sale only! I had to click the Rebuild Choice under the Title section, but a title is NOT REQUIRED in Georgia on a vehicle this old. I will obtain a Georgia T-22B, Serial Plate Verification After Inspection by Law Enforcement to accompany the T-7 Bill of Sale. I will provide a Notarized document declaring I am the legal owner of this vehicle & provide a copy of the Bill of Sale transferring ownership to me from the previous owner. CHECK the motor vehicle registration requirements in your state for No-Title cars. I can't answer your questions pertaining to title rules in your state. This is a NO RESERVE Auction. The Porsche will sell to the highest bidder. You are bidding on a running PROJECT car & it is sold AS-IS with No Warranty. The car has been driven this month a distance of about 28 miles with no overheat issues, normal oil pressure level, etc. I could not get the car into first gear & did not want to force it, so I started in 2nd gear. All other gears work fine. I was told it was just an adjustment required at the transaxle, but I can't confirm. The clutch & brakes work fine, with plenty of pads left on brakes. The exhaust system is complete & functional, not blown out. Please do not contact me to end the auction early, as I will abide by ebay rules. If you really want the car, simply click Buy it Now. I had 100% rating until the sale of my personal Porsche 968 this past winter. I disclosed the car had a problem with the A/C system not blowing cold air, but the buyer tried to extort me after buying the car, claiming the car needed "$2,800" worth of repairs. I refused to give in to his outrageous demands & even after he raved about the car when he picked it up, he left negative feedback. You are bidding on a running project car & bid accordingly. If you are familiar with the Porsche 944, you know what parts sell for & you know you can recover your investment by selling parts from this car if you don't want to restore it.
