It does need brake work to be driven. It runs and drives good but the brakes bleed off if it sits for a few days. The seats, head liner, door liner and dash are all very very good. Around the car there are some garage dents. The biggest on is on the passenger door and is about a 12 in. crease. This car has never been wrecked. To make it really nice it does need new paint. This would be a great car for someone who wants to do a worthwhile restoration to a very nice original classic. This is not one of those project cars that should actually be in the junk yard. This car is well worth the work that it needs. It is a true project that is worthy of your time and effort and you will have something nice and rare when you are done. This has the slant six that we are told gets very good miliage so it is something you can drive with today's fuel prices. It is likely one of the nicer original 64 Darts left. The history of the car is that it spent its life in a very small town in central Nebr. of about 600 people. There was a Dodge dealer right in the small town that it was purchased at. The owner drove the car on only good occasions and it was not his daily driver. He passed away quite a few years back so the car has been in storage for most of the last 10 years.
