This is a 1996 Toyota 4Runner that I have owned for about 11-12 years. It is in good overall condition. The driver's seat started to rip along the seat bolster, so I bought good quality custom fit "Endura" covers for it. They are nice, comfortable and they really do a great job of protecting the seats. Maintenance: Always used synthetic oil, and it still does not burn oil at 239K miles! Changed the timing belt for the first time at 170K miles, along with the water pump, tensioner, etc. as recommended. New front CV joints last fall because the old ones were starting to make the truck vibrate. New starter at about 175K, and had the trans filter and fluid changed at same time... had to remove tranny pan to get starter out of vehicle! I put an aftermarket HD radio receiver in (center console under the radio). Some of the trim pieces (fender flares, etc) have some peeling paint (see pics), but the main paint on the vehicle is pretty good. Tires are over half tread left. Has a Reese hitch. Many years ago, the trailer wiring had an electronic box on the end that got damaged, and it was scrambling the turn signals and brake light functions, so I just cut it off. The wires are still there, but it would have to be re-wired if you want to tow something. Kelly Blue Book on this truck is over $3500 for TRADE IN.
