Dont miss the opportunity to own a increbible, restored true survivor mustang. I purchased this mustang 2 years ago from a elderly lady that had it stored in her garage after the death of her husband in 1983. They were the original owners of the car . It was purchased new at charlie hillard ford in fort worth texas and has been in the fort worth texas area all its life. It is a original car that has been freshened up due to its age. A 289 c code car with a c4 automatic transmission. The engine runs great and the transmission shifts flawlessly. Optioned with the sprint b package, power steering and factory in dash air conditioning ( updated with all new old air components retaining the in dash system, blows cold !) The car has had one respray and is in need of new paint to be show quality. Also has a dent in the right rear quarter panel as shown. The floors are original and rust free. The frame rails , torque boxes and rocker panels and sheet metal is also rust free. Runs and drives probably better that when it was new ( due to the following items that have been replaced or updated ).The odometer reads 40577 and i feel like this milage is probably actuall. Read closly to the following list as many parts have been changed due to its age . NEW---- FUEL TANK, FUEL PUMP, STARTER, CAM, LIFTERS ,ROCKER ARMS, TIMING CHAIN SET ,EDELBROCK INTAKE, EDELBROCK CARB. ,WATER PUMP, POWER STEERING PUMP, RADIATOR, MASTER CYLINDER, BRAKE CYLINDERS, BRAKE SHOES, OLD AIR A/C COVERSION, BATTERY ,SHOCKS F&R, BRAKES F&R , SPRINGS REAR , COMPLETE EXHAUST SYSTEM WITH H-PIPE AND FLOWMASTERS, TIRES , WHEEL TRIM RINGS, WINDSHEILD, COMPLETE INTERIOR AS SHOWN - NEW EVERTHING, IN DASH TACH, --- WHEN THE NEW INTERIOR WAS INSTALLED I HAD DYNAMAT SOUND PROOFING INSULATION INSTALLED THROUGH OUT, INCLUDING INSIDE THE DOORS ( TOOK A PIX OF THIS BUT CANT FIND IT). EVERYTHING REPLACED HAS BEEN TO THE ORIGINAL CAR EXCEPT THE STEERING WHEEL. THE RESTORATION ITEMS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED OR INSTALLED BY A LOCAL MUSTANG RESTORATION SHOP HERE IN FORT WORTH, TEXAS The headliner is original and in perfect condition. The car is in great condition and can be driven and enjoyed as is , or with a professional paint job would make a first class show car, everything else has already been done.
