For sale is an excellent example of a RHD Silver Cloud III. I acquired this car in a trade for another car. The seller obviously put a lot of money in this car and ran into trouble and needed to trade it away. I have seen many RHD cars and this is at the top of the list. There is no corrosion aside from minor surface rust underneath, although I believe some minor rust on the rear quarters has been attended to which did not disturb the curves of the fender bottoms. The boxes are intact and unrusted. I have shown photos of the rear of the underside showing solid body mounts. The car was not neglected. I just had my mechanic review it-and it drives and stops perfectly. No leaking from any brake components or engine. Power steering works fine. The car just drives wonderfully and stops just as well. I guarantee this to any buyer. Everything works, wipers, lights front, back and inside. Steers perfectly. No money need be spent on any mechanical issue to drive and enjoy car. It has been repainted at some time in shell grey metallic (RR color) and aside from some minor blemishes is excellent. The interior is Connolly black leather with the nice original grain pattern, and is sewn perfectly. The interior shows minimal wear and is simply excellent. It has great, like-new black mouton rugs, an upgraded radio with CD, and seat belts front and back. The tires are 90% new and do not need replacing. The air conditioning is very unusual-it has front air which emerges from the air vents on the top dash rail-I have only one other time seen under wing air on a RHD car. It also has a unit in the trunk for rear air, so dual air conditioning. It blew so cold on a recent warm day I had to shut it after one minute of use. Minor issues that should be attended to. Somehow has no driver-side rear view mirror. I will supply vent window mirror or dual wing mirrors at buyer's request. The small tool kit was stolen a short while ago I was told by seller. The wood was redone at some point, but the lacquer was not applied properly-so the four door filets and the lower dash have cracking. These can be removed and redone without much expense. I have tried to describe this car in as much honest detail as I can. There may be a minor issue I have overlooked but it cannot be a major problem and it is unintentional. I have started the bidding at a reasonable price with no reserve. Every SC3 I see in Classic and Sports Car magazine is priced at $60,000 and above in the UK. Given the condition this car is an excellent value I believe to the highest bidder. Car can be seen in northern NJ if desired. I have sent cars overseas and have an excellent international shipper near to me (Fromm America), and can provide European references to overseas buyers upon request.
