Vehicle Detail

You are Bidding on an Awesome 1965 Jeep CJ5 with New 33x12.5R15LT tires, Custom Rims, Rough Country 2 ½ Lift Package, Western Plow, and Full Roll Cage. This was a ground up project that stopped at the body and frame. This Jeep has the factory original 4cyl engine, which runs great. This vehicle (although the body is ugly) is street legal and does get driven from time to time. This Jeep does NOT have a top to it. The old rag top and doors were in very rough shape and were thrown out. Great Package!! My Loss is your Gain!! MUST SELL!! I have been working on this ’65 Jeep CJ5 in my spare time as a project Jeep. My intention was to start from the ground up and slowly rebuild everything. I started with the axles, leaf springs, brakes, shocks, and tire package. The brakes have all been gone through and most of the components replaced. I wanted large tires, but knew that clearance from the leaf springs while turning is always a problem, so I had custom offset wheels made to solve this problem. Bassett Wheel manufactures racing wheels for sprint cars and agreed to make these wheels with a 1” offset such that I could get 33” tires on the factory axles of this CJ5 without clearance problems. They work perfectly! And, Look awesome. Obviously the body needs replacement but this Jeep runs great with the factory 4 cylinder flathead. This engine is original and has not had any work done to it. The top is not shown as it is in bad shape. You can have it. The older tires are also part of this package and must be taken when you pick up. The roll cage was built so that I could put a back seat in it for the kids. I have a set of seat belts for all 4 seats from a late model jeep. The holes for the seat belts were installed in the roll cage. The Plow is an older version of a Western Plow. The hydraulics run off of a pulley on the engine with mechanical valving. I don’t know have much value to plow has to a custom Jeep, but it goes with the sale. The original tires are yours with this purchase. They are not of much value but go with the vehicle. Vehicle has 51204 miles on the odometer, but the title has mileage exempt. I knew the previous owners and I believe the mileage is truly 51204, but I can not be sure. I had grand ideas but have realized that the likelihood of finishing this project is slim to none. This is a great start to an awesome project that someone can finish. I have a ton of money in it that could be your gain. Serious Bidders ONLY! Good Luck Bidding!! Shipping: LOCAL PICKUP ONLY!! Make all arrangements to pickup the item before you bid. If you want to have it shipped, you need to make all arrangements with your travel company for pickup. There are many companies on line that do this, just search online and you are sure to find one. I will assist in loading the vehicle and I am flexible with pickup times. Payment: payment due at the end of the auction. If any payment method is used other than cash, item can not be picked up until payment method has CLEARED.
