1993 Volvo 240 Classic This is a rare chance to buy a low mile collectible car in excellent condition. This is #1348 of the 1600 made. It is in excellent condition, always garaged, just state inspected. I am technically 3rd owner, I purchased from original owners grandson. It spent its whole life in southern Illinois. I just recently brought it to New England. Did not see snow. Underneath is clean. Interior is excellent, no cracks in the dash, seats near mint. Everything works perfect, AC, cruise, power windows and locks. Mechanically it is in excellent condition, I would drive it to cross country. Has new Yokohama tires. When I got it inspected at a Volvo specialist shop, they were blown away at the overall condition. Front end is tight. I replaced original radio with Alpine mp3. I do have the original radio and will include it if wanted. Only minor things I would do soon if I was keeping it - muffler is getting slightly noisy when first started, would replace within 6 months. I do not know last time timing belt was changed, I do not believe it needs it but may in future. Sometimes when braking at highway speeds there is a very slight pulse. Brakes fine, but may need rotors turned within 10k miles. I planned on keeping this in garage as a collectible classic car, but I am moving and will not have garage space to store it. My loss, I hate to let her go. Car is located on New Hampshire/ Maine border, about an hour north of Boston. I can pick up buyer at either Boston, Portland or Manchester airports, all are within hour.On May-03-12 at 10:13:03 PDT, seller added the following information: Someone asked about any accidents. It was never in an accident or had any paint or body work done. I added a pic of a parking lot ding on the rear passenger side bumper. The previous owner mentioned it happened in a parking lot from another car backing up. On May-07-12 at 07:00:41 PDT, seller added the following information: I was asked to show pics of underneath the car. I have added a few, as you can see there are no rust issues, the pipes and catalytic converter is in nice shape.
