All history known, documented and truck includes a multitude of paperwork from throughout its life along with the original window sticker. Very rare, originally ordered options include: Original 289 V-8, Half Cab, External Tire Carrier,Cruise Control, Dual Fuel Tanks (12/6 gallon) and 4.11 front/rear gears. Truck has manual steering and brakes and a three speed transmission. 103,497 miles are currently on chassis. Less than 1,500 miles have been put on truck since purchased in 2003. Only driven to and from local car shows and stored inside at all other times. Body is in excellent shape. Rust is extremely minimal. Frame is straight and solid. Please view photo album for close-ups of all areas and more photos are available upon request to show great condition. Paint is in good to very good condition with excellent gloss and was painted sometime in the late 90s. Does show minimal road wear at some points. Photos will show all details. The original family bought the truck in Montana in 1968, sold it to one additional owner in 1999 and then to myself in 2003. The cylinder heads were changed over to hardened valve seatsprior to my purchase in order to run unleaded. On May-03-12 at 17:39:02 PDT, seller added the following information: --Correction to the year truck was painted--I located the receipt and it was done in 1991.On May-03-12 at 17:43:26 PDT, seller added the following information: I've had questions about the drivetrain--Front axle is a Dana 30 and rear is a 9 inch Ford. Original radio and speaker work and a small FM converter is installed under the dash and working. On May-07-12 at 17:19:31 PDT, seller added the following information: -I had questions about what it looked like in the back, so I added several photos of exactly what the bed/tailgate area looks like on the photobucket.com account listed here: http://s544.photobucket.com/albums/hh357/bronco_46256/1968%20Bronco/?start=all -Also, I do have the original air cleaner for the truck. Added a photo of that also in the photobucket account. -Had questions about the carb--Its a 2 barrell Holley with manual choke. Purchased it new to put on the truck. Runs excellent. -Someone asked about the sticker on the dash. Its the original sticker about how to operate the Warn front locking hubs. Its a bit faded, but I never touced it since it was the original. -This was the last year of the Bronco the window frames unbolted from the doors. So, the top comes off, window frames unbolt and the windshield can fold down, similar to a Jeep. I have had the top off and window frames off, but never have folded windshield. -Question about the unpainted bracket on the passenger rear fender-Its the "Rancher" option that is extremely rare on these trucks. It allows you to swing the tire carrier all the way out to the fender, flip the tire over to the other side of the carrier and bolt it to the truck so you can run with the tailgate down. It appears to be some type of galvanized metal since its not painted, but has no rust on it. I bought it that way and have never touched the finish. -Finally-I couldnt sell a car in good conscience with rusty valve covers, so I had them sandblasted, painted and new gaskets/bolts installed for the new owner!!
