Vehicle Detail

1981 California Fiat Spider 2000YOU ARE BIDDING ON AN ORIGINAL CALIFORNIA fIAT SPIDER WITH LOW MILES.This car is in very good shape, nice top, good interior. Body is in very good condition with no rust. Bottom of car is nice and clean. New brakes, new rear shocks and many other items. Nice stereo with CD, nice Spider wheels and All the chrome is very good shape.Starts everytime. This car flys down the highway and stops on a dime.Car has a small dent in rear quarter. Carpet has been removed for replacement. Car had front fenders repaired after it got hit by a truck backing up a few years ago hence the "salvage title". Insurance totaled the car and I bought it back and I fixed the front fenders with two new front half's. (see pics)This car needs:Possible rear window, (see pics) carpet and a good home!Paint is waring but still in very good condition for the year. Once again no rust on this car.currently registered and fully SMOG tested.I have five Spiders and three have to go. I'll be listing both my 76 Spiders next month. This a buy as is auction and there is no warranty. I will assist on shipping but buyer is responsible for shipping costs. Local pickup is available in Northern California from my warehouse.I'll answer any questions you may have.Good luck bidding and thanks for looking! On Apr-26-12 at 05:44:38 PDT, seller added the following information: Added 04/25/2012. First, Car is being sold AS IS. If you know FIATS then you know how FIATS are. This Fiat runs very well and the odometer reads 81,000 miles. my Fiat starts every time and runs straight down the road. It does need a warm up for the choke (closed air system) to smooth out, so please keep this in mind. This can be corrected by a tech or by you (new owner) but I have never had a tech look at any of my Fiats. I handle all repair work myself. This car is a nice running car. Second, I forgot to mention that the transmission has been rebuilt about one year ago by a certified Fiat repair station in Malden Massachusettes. First gear is not syncromeshed. Second, third, fourth and fifth are fully synsromeshed. Please ask any questions you wish but please keep your comments to the purchase not random rambling........I have had one comment from a person who knows nothing but likes to waste time. Thanks. Paul
