Vehicle Detail
NO RESERVE AUCTION!!!!!!! TRADES sure............................. You are bidding on a 1954 F100 that is a great driver. I bought this truck last year from the owner who had it since 2004 and I have used it regularly to get around town, pick up hay and other large items. It is far from perfect but runs strong, stops on a dime, shifts smoothly, doesn't smoke, is very reliable even in the cold of winter. I drove this truck to a Super Bowl Party in February and it started right up after sitting outside all afternoon and evening in the dead of winter. I am a classic car collector that loves old cars, primarily GM so this old Ford just doesn't fit in the garage for many reasons. I have enjoyed this truck for almost a year now, however its time to move on. I am open to hear about trades for cars, trucks, motorcycles, automobilia, etc, so let me know what you have in mind. This vehicle has a clean NJ Certificate of Title in my name and in my possession, so it's ready to go when you are. I accept Paypal, Cash and Certified bank checks that we will deposit together at my bank before the vehicle and the title leave the premises. The truck can be driven a reasonable amount of miles, you decide what that means, California no, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York yes. Alternatively I will deliver the truck via trailer at $1.00 per mile round trip. The pictures are current and very accurate. The straight six which I believe is original runs as good as anyone could expect and does not smoke. The trans which is three on the tree shifts perfectly and it stops as well as any truck from that era. It has a diamond plate bed which is strong and a functioning tailgate. The windows and glass all appear to be original or very close, however the window rubbers and felts are not in place so they rattle a bit when up. The heater is there, but either doesn't work or not connected, I haven't looked. The headlights and taillights work fine. This truck has four very good tires that are like new, new carburetor, new exhaust, new wiring throughout. The paint is new from the previous owner, not prefect but presentable. The truck is 12 Volt with a fairly new Interstate battery. The frame and under carriage are in very nice shape, strong and clean. This truck is a great beginning vehicle for a collector or can be used as the basis of a full restoration or starting point for a hot rod. I encourage every bidder to come see this truck, take it for a drive, inspect it, kick the tires, etc. I am a collector of fine vehicles and bought this truck on a whim last year and would not want to loose my eBay reputation over the value of this vehicle, all I ask is that if you bid please do so assuming you are the winner as I have NO RESERVE and assume you have funds and ability to follow through. Please ask questions, inspect, etc, NOW, not afterwards as I have no secrets, it is what it is. What does it need: Emergency brake cableWindshield wipers.Side view (exterior) mirrors.Front Fender Mounted turn signals.Cab floor is rusted around body mounts. Some exterior rust near bottom of doors.Bid with confidence, I am a long term, reputable eBayer, look for yourself. This vehicle will be sold to the highest bidder or make an offer and I will stop the auction. Thanks Paul
