Vehicle Detail

1968 Ford Bronco This bronco runs and drives excellent. It starts right up, and runs very smoothly. The brakes work great. It has a new paint job in a cream color. The underside of the body is painted black before it was put back on the frame. The interior is in excellent condition. The front seats have been replaced with a much nicer newer style bucket seat which are very comfortable. The rear bench seat is also a new style that folds and tumbles for extra space in the rear. The flooring is a nice heavy black rubber mat that easily comes in and out for cleaning. The floor pans had been replaced prior to painting. There is no rust to be found in this Bronco. The front fenders and hood are new metal. This Bronco is super clean inside and out. This vehicle has been garage kept since the restoration. The Bronco has been a Sunday driver in the summer months. The 1968 is the last year in which the window frames for the door are removeable. This is a very nice feature with the top off. This Bronco comes with a very nice bikini top. Check out all of the pictures. You won't be disappointed. Body and Interior: Body off frame paint (Done with high quality PPG paint) New body mounts New front bumper New front windshield and rearview mirror New upper and lower door weather strips New lift gate/tail gate upper and side weather stripping New tail gate lower weather seal New tail gate side bumpers New rubber hood supports New factory style arm rests (both doors from Tom's Bronco) New factory style door cups (both doors from Tom's Bronco) New clutch and brake pedal pads Many new bolts, screws, and grommets (too many to list) New fold and tumble rear bench seat (from Tom's Bronco) New ultra flex rear fender flares (from Tom's Bronco) Engine: 200 ci 6 cylinder New NOS Factory Motorcraft Carb (not rebuilt) New fuel pump New fuel filter (in line and on carb) Just tuned up less than 20 miles ago: Oil and filter changed Coolant flushed and new coolant New sparkplugs Drive Train: Ford 9 inch rear end 4.11 gears Manual Factory 3-Speed Brakes have under 1000 miles on them (lots of pedal no sponge) New rear drive line U-joints New right side emergency brake cable New steering shaft U-joints Tires are 31X10.50 2 inch suspension lift Rancho rear shocks New front C-Bushings Warn hubs New Exhaust and Muffler (from exhaust manifold to tail pipe) Other: New headlight dimmer switch New turn signal switch New fuel tank caps main and auxillary Comes with a nice bikini style top To note: The heater on/off switch is a toggle switch, the original switch is there, but not hooked up. The toggle switch works fine, so I have not replaced it. The speedometer and the volt meter work. The fuel, oil pressure, and temperature gauges do not work. The headlights, tail lights all work The windshield wiper works slowly, it is the original vacuum style. The Bronco has not been driven in rain/snow or even in the winter, so the wiper was not ever a concern. IMPORTANT: A $500 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of the auction closing.
