Barn find, numbers matching Firebird Turbo Formula. one of under 700 produced. Original 301 Turbo engine, Original wheels, upholstery, glass, everything but radio is there. I have a clear PA title in hand for it. This car was parked for unknown reasons around 1994. I have had it approx 3 years and in that time, installed new floor pans on both sides,carpet, and package tray, complete brake and fuel lines,gas tank, rebuilt the carb and installed a new distributor, plugs and wires, and radiator.(original radiator and shroud included) After all this, she runs and drives, stops and starts no problem. Runs good, no knocks or funny noises from the engine but still needs proper tuning. I have had it up to about 80 MPH on a test run. THIS CAR IS STILL A PROJECT! This car is structurally sound! all bumper mounts are solid as are the frame rails, spring perches, etc. Floors brand new, welded in properly and trunk weak spots were patched with steel and welded in. The interior is very very good original condition and needs nothing but a headliner. No cracks in dash, no fading of interior plastic, no cracks in steering wheel, it is still soft to the touch! Car is equipped with WS6, posi-traction and 4 wheel disc brakes and T tops. Make an offer! I bought another car and this one must go. I just want what I have into it. If that is met, I will include a NOS edelbrock methanol injection kit, new in the box! As it sits now, it will start, run, drive, shift, stop. The Turbo charger does work and it sounds great. This car is so close to being done. You will need new tires (tread is new but weather cracked pretty bad) Exhaust--this was removed due to rodent nests! Lighting. brake lite bulbs out, lo beams are out, turn signal bulbs out too, possibly the little blinker controller whatever its called. I called it a Trans am for search purposes! On Apr-09-12 at 09:35:31 PDT, seller added the following information: Some questions were asked about the quarter panels. they are perfect, as are trunk drop offs. there is NO structural body rust other than minimal surface rust on this car. The ONLY exception is the drivers lower fender--it has a hole where the drain hole was clogged. It is patchable or the fender can easily be replaced. This is why I originally bought this car. the rear end is totally rust free and clean! Amazing condition.
