Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a 1-owner (well it was purchased in my dads name then transferred to me so it may say 2) 2005 Toyota Tacoma with 4-cylinder engine and manual transmission. Old Man Emu Heavy Duty lift and 235/85-16 General Grabber tires. This truck has averaged 18-19.5 mpg city/mix and 23-24.5 mpg highway with the lift and was 1-2 mpg better without the lift. MPGs is one of the big reason I chose this truck as I was commuting to school and regularly driving to my snowmobile/dirt biking house 400 miles away in the UP of Michigan. Tires have about 5,000 miles on them and the last set went 82,000 miles so I would say they are 94%. They are a little louder than my old Toyo A/Ts but not obnoxiously so. This truck is as easy on tires as on gas. If the HD OME suspension is too stiff for you I have the Softer Old Man Emu front springs and rear leafs can be removed The truck runs great and has been well maintained. I have used Mobile-1 Synthetic since the first oil change and just had the 120,000 mile service done including replacing the iridium spark plugs. Interior is clean for a truck with these miles as you can see in the pics, but it is not perfect. There are some surface scratches on the glovebox (pictured) and some dirt around the floor mats. There is also a shiny (not rusted) wear mark on the bottom of the door frame from me sliding out (pictured). The seats are nearly perfect as they have been under neoprene and rubber toyota covers since the first month I bought it (pictured with and without covers). The covers are off so I could take pics but will be included. The driver's side cover is torn on the outside seat (pictured) but are still very usable. The has been well cared for but not babied so there are some small dings and scratches on the exterior but nothing you would likely notice from 10 feet. The composite bed interior is solid but scratched and scuffed from snowmobiles, motorcycles, engines, and other cargo over the years. All bed rails and tie-down points are in place. I just noticed that the CV boots are torn on both sides, not sure if it just need boots or new CVs and don't have time to deal with it. Boots are about $15 and CVs are $80-115, just so you know, but I still wouldn't hesitate to drive anywhere and the 4x4 engages fine. Here are some extras included with the truck: -Alpine MP3 Head unit currently installed (pictured)-Stock CD stereo-Ram mount system 1 for iPod and 1 multi-fit (shown with iPhone)-Weather Tech Floor mats-Brand new Old Man Emu Standard duty Coil Springs-Diamond plate tool box-Toyota bed rail cargo divider-4 sliding tie down attachment points for the rail system-Full tank of gas (currently a $90 value)-Full size never used spare (Toyo AT in 265/75-16 same height just wider) This truck has never left me stranded or needing something bigger to get the job done. It has hauled snowmobiles, motorcycles, a few big engines and way too many couches and dressers. It has helped out on a friends christmas tree farm, pulled bigger trucks out of ditches and even pulled a race car when another truck failed. And has done so while getting great fuel milage. the lift and tires make it nearly unstoppable in 18-28" snows (the main reason I lifted it) that I encounter snowmobiling, and last winter in Chicago. If it weren't for the fact that it wont seat both my wife and my soon to be born son I would not even consider selling it, but I don't have room to keep a spare vehicle around so... my loss. I am willing to drive the truck to meet someone within say 100 miles of 60190 for no charge, but other than that it's your responsibility to arrange pick-up/delivery. I will of course assist where I can. There is no warranty left on the truck and a deposit of $500 must be paid within 48 hours of the auction end. Full payment must be made in cash or certified check.
