Vehicle Detail
will update on FridayOn Apr-20-12 at 19:59:51 PDT, seller added the following information: Up for bid is my 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Classic. These cars were the last of the 4th generation Cutlass, and there were 27,678 of them built in early 1988. It also marked the end of the line for rear wheel drive and V-8 power for the Cutlass. They were designated with the "Classic" monicker so as not to be confused with the new 5th generation Cutlass (w-body) which made it's debut mid year, also as a 1988 model. My car is Burgundy Metallic with a burgundy cloth interior, and features just about every option that was available in 1988, including T-Tops. (which do not leak and do not rattle) It has a 305 4bbl with a 4 speed automatic trans. Performance Options Include: 3.08 limited slip rear axle, "Handling" package with firm ride Convenience Options Include: power locks & windows; air conditioning; cruise control; tilt wheel; rear window defroster; 6 way power drivers seat; under hood, trunk and interior courtesy lights + lighted vanity mirror; premium sound (with factory GM, but not original CD player - I will include the original tape deck to go with the car); power antenna; pulse wipers; dual remote sport mirrors. Appearance Options Include: recling bucket seats w/ floor shift console; tinted windows; body side mouldings; body side accent stripe; leather wrapped steering wheel; super stock chrome wheels; Rallye guage pack w/ tachometer. This car stickered for over $20,000 in 1988. I have all the manuals and the original window sticker to go with the car. I purchased it new from a dealer right here in Ohio, and have put just under 26,000 miles on it. It has only been driven in the rain a handful of times, and has never seen snow, or the salt residue of early spring. It has never been in an accident or had any paintwork done to it. There are a handful of stonechips which have all been properly repaired. The interior is like new with the exception of a small wear spot in the carpet to the right of the gas pedal (see pic). I have changed the oil and filter once every year. (it never made 3000 miles in a year, so the mileage never dictated an oil change.) Everything works as it should. This is probably one of the cleanest Cutlass' of this vintage that you are going to find. It runs and drives like a dream and always turns heads on the road.On Apr-20-12 at 20:13:37 PDT, seller added the following information: Feel free to contact Jeff at 330-519-4977 if you have any questions about the car. I have nothing to hide, and am confident you will not be disappointed with this car. I am located in New Middletown, Ohio (about :45 from Pittsburgh) near Youngstown, and encourage anyone who is interested in the vehicle to come inspect it in person prior to the auctions end, or send an independent 3rd party inspector. A non refundable $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of the auctions close and can be sent via paypal. The balance is due via certified check within 7 days. I must have verified funds in my account before the vehicle leaves my garage, so all checks should be drawn on a bank with a branch near me. I am happy to help with shipping the car, but the buyer must set up and pay for all shipping on there own.On Apr-23-12 at 03:24:55 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention that it has a motion sensing Alpine alarm system installed (manual is in one of the pics) and you can also see in the pics that I have attached mudflaps to protect the body side. Other than those 2 items, and the previously mentioned CD player, the car is as it was the day I picked it up from the dealer.
